IFusion

IFusionCom was a classic Internet startup of the 90's. It started in 1996 with great dreams, chewed through an incredible amount of money, and went bankrupt two weeks after we put our first beta up on the Web.

I had the interesting experience of working for them, starting about half-way through the wild ride. 100 hour work weeks, the Los Vegas Comdex, boys weeping quietly over broken code, a baptism by fire in C++. huge arguments over minor stuff, and the most sushi I ever ate in one night. Pretty intense experience.

What's more, I'd do it again. Show me a cool idea and some hot coders, and I'll do those 100 hours weeks. But I want might to have a chat with the CFO first. ;)

The following are a couple rants I wrote at various stages of the meltdown. If you've been in a similar place, you might find them amusing.
